Ms Chloe Lee, our founder, specializes in the area of IP practice and she has also been appointed by the Chinese Ministry of Justice of People's Republic of China (PRC) as China-Appointed Attesting Officer (中國委托公証人) since 2012.  Chloe is authorized to attest and certify acts, matters and documents of legal significance occurring or emanating from Hong Kong for use in the Mainland.

 

Chloe has extensive experience in contentious and non-contentious work in China and Hong Kong.  She has advised and assisted both multi-national corporations (MNCs) and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on matters including IP rights portfolio planning & protection strategies; enforcement of IP rights; organizing & implementing brand name protection strategies for international brand name owners; initiating & defending trademark oppositions & invalidation actions in China and Hong Kong; due diligence & acquisition of IP rights.  Chloe also works on a wide spectrum of IP related commercial matters, agency / distribution disputes and advising on data privacy issues, domain name procurement, software contracts, and product liability issues.

 

Chloe has been frequently invited to speak in seminars and conferences on intellectual property; and contributing to articles on IP law and practice to publications of international circulation.  Chloe has also been identified by various publications / organizations as a leading IP practitioner throughout the years:-
